Project management for students

A project board students run themselves.

Every student, or every team, gets one for a unit: what they might do, what they are on right now, and what is done. This is the real board, with a sample project on it. Move a card.

Setting up the board…

This board is kept in your browser. Nothing you do here is sent anywhere, and Start again clears it.

What a student gets

A way to see the whole project, and the one thing to do next.

  • One thing at a timeRight now shows the single card they are on this class.
  • Sized, not timedA card is Quick, A class, or 2+ classes.
  • Stuck is a flag, not a failureThey say what would unstick them, and the team sees it.
  • Done takes ten secondsOne line on what got done, then the card moves.
  • Milestones with datesEach one is figuring it out, making it happen, or done.
  • Solo or in a teamIt is the same board. A team also sees who is on what.

What you see

Students run the work. You can see where each of them is.

  • See what each student is onTeaching mode shows the card they are doing right now.
  • See who has not startedEach student's cards on the board, and how many are done.
  • Teams in one switchTurn teams on for a class and put students into them.
  • Nothing here is a gradeThe board holds no marks, and a team never sees anyone's.

The board sits inside every unit, beside the lessons.

Teacher accounts are invite-only while we pilot.
