Isometric drawing practice
Read the front, top and side views. Work out the solid, then draw its visible edges on 30° dot paper. The object stays hidden until you reveal an answer. Free, with no sign-up.
The three given views
Challenge 1 of 16Front gives width and height; top gives width and depth; side gives depth and height. Read the dashed hidden edges too. Put the front face on the left and the side face on the right. Leave out seams between cubes on a flat face.

Your isometric drawing
Drag between dots, or click one dot and then another. Draw the same line again to remove it. A purple ring shows the endpoint; red means that direction is not allowed.
Keyboard: Tab into the paper. Arrow keys move, Enter or Space starts and ends a line, Escape cancels. Shift + Left/Right follows the other sloping axis. Ctrl/⌘ Z undoes; Shift Ctrl/⌘ Z redoes.
How isometric drawing works
Work out the solid from three views
The front gives width and height, the top gives width and depth, and the side gives depth and height. Read the hidden edges too. The solid and its answer stay hidden while you draw; numbered challenge buttons do not give it away. Start with a cube and a bar before steps and recesses.
Draw on three equal axes
Upright edges stay vertical; the other two directions slope at 30° to the horizontal. One step on 30° dot paper represents one unit. Put the front face on the left and the side face on the right. Draw visible edges where surfaces meet, leaving out seams within a flat surface and edges hidden behind the solid.
Practise, check, print
Draw anywhere on the paper, then check. Extra segments are shown in red; missing segments are counted without their positions being revealed. Print a dot-paper worksheet or its answers.
